Zara Larsson broke an arena record. Then came back and broke it again

Breaking a concert attendance record is already impressive.

Breaking your own record less than 24 hours later? That’s a completely different level.

Zara Larsson has made history at Auckland’s Spark Arena in New Zealand, setting a new attendance record on two consecutive nights.

And the numbers are surprisingly close.

Two nights. Two records.

On Sunday, October 25, the Swedish pop star performed in front of 12,796 fans, breaking the venue’s previous attendance record.

The record had been held by Linkin Park, who attracted 12,736 fans earlier this year.

But Zara wasn’t finished.

The following night, October 26, she returned to the same arena and welcomed 12,798 fans.

That’s right.

She broke her own record by two people.

Across both performances, a total of 25,594 fans attended, marking a huge ending to the Australian and New Zealand leg of her Midnight Sun Tour.

Zara’s pop era is getting bigger.

The achievement follows another major moment for the singer.

Just days earlier, she performed in front of nearly 18,000 people in Sydney, marking the biggest headline concert of her career so far.

For an artist who first gained international attention with hits like Lush Life and Never Forget You, the recent success reflects how much her live audience has grown.

And with songs from her Midnight Sun era building momentum, Zara has continued connecting with both longtime listeners and a new generation discovering her music online.

But the funniest part?

The difference between her first record and her second was literally two fans.

Somewhere in Auckland, two people can probably claim they helped Zara Larsson make history.

The singer has played some of the biggest shows of her career this year.

And if these numbers are anything to go by, her audiences aren’t getting smaller anytime soon.
