Spotify is doing something with GTA VI and nobody knows what’s going on

stache lifstyle

Over the past few days, artists including Travis Scott, Future, Metro Boomin, Morgan Wallen, Yung Lean, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards have been posting mysterious artwork in the unmistakable visual style of GTA VI.

Then Spotify entered the chat.

GTA VI-style billboards carrying Spotify branding have appeared in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, and Spotify itself shared photos with possibly the most annoying caption imaginable:

That’s it.No explanation.No tracklist.No announcement.

Naturally, the internet is now investigating.

The obvious theory is that we’re watching the beginning of a major music rollout connected to GTA VI. Fans are also wondering whether Spotify could somehow be integrated into the game, allowing players to listen to their own playlists while driving around Vice City.

That would be insane.

It is also NOT confirmed.

Rockstar, Spotify and Take-Two have not announced an in-game Spotify feature or revealed an official soundtrack tracklist.

For now, all we know is:

major artists are teasing GTA.

Spotify is putting it on billboards.

And Rockstar is letting everyone lose their minds.

They’ve successfully got everyone’s attention without actually telling us anything.
