Forget quiet luxury for a second. Ralph Lauren wants romance back.
The designer opened New York Fashion Week with his Spring 2027 collection, describing it as an “irreverent take on romance.”
And the collection definitely leaned into it: corseted tops, flowing trousers, feathered pieces, oversized floral brooches, dramatic coats, plunging gowns and soft, feminine silhouettes were mixed with classic Ralph Lauren tailoring.
The interesting part? Lauren didn’t completely abandon his signature masculine aesthetic. Tailored suits, wide ties and menswear-inspired pieces were styled alongside ultra-feminine dresses and corseted looks.
Basically : Ralph Lauren blends sharp tailoring, feminine silhouettes and romantic details into one effortlessly elegant aesthetic.
The celebrity front row was just as strong, with Viola Davis, Cynthia Erivo, Elisabeth Debicki and Ariana DeBoseamong the guests.
