Morocco has launched the first edition of the Rally IA Future Lab in Merzouga, bringing together students,
researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and developers with a shared goal: building the country’s future in artificial intelligence.

Held from June 16 to 20, the initiative is designed as a national platform for identifying talent, accelerating innovation,
and transforming AI-driven ideas into real-world solutions with economic and social impact.
─────────
The program aligns with Morocco’s broader digital ambitions, including the Digital Morocco 2030 strategy and the AI Made in Morocco
initiative. Officials say the objective is to strengthen the country’s position as a regional hub for artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
─────────
Participants benefit from mentorship by national and international experts through workshops focused on innovation,
rapid experimentation, scenario-building, impact-driven design, and strategic storytelling. The goal is to help young
innovators develop solutions that are both practical and attractive to investors.
─────────
The first edition is expected to involve around 1,000 young participants, with plans to expand the program to 5,000 participants in future editions.
Organizers hope the initiative will evolve into a permanent national platform dedicated to AI innovation and future-focused problem solving.

One thing is clear:
Morocco is betting on its young talent to shape the future of artificial intelligence — and the Rally IA Future Lab is designed to help turn that ambition into reality.
