Rachid Rafik is taking Mode Avionde to Marrakech tonight.
The Moroccan comedian is launching the second leg of his stand-up tour with a September 11 performance at Meydene Marrakech.
The show follows a series of dates across Morocco, several of which reportedly sold out, including previous stops in Marrakech, Fès, Rabat, Casablanca and Tangier.
For Moroccan Gen Z, stand-up has increasingly become social-media content too: the jokes don’t necessarily stay inside the theatre. Clips, catchphrases and audience moments can quickly travel across TikTok and Instagram.
