L’Oréal ambassadors including Kendall Jenner, Viola Davis, Cara Delevingne, Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are expected to be part of the event.
Unlike most fashion week shows, where getting inside requires an invitation, industry connections or possibly being someone’s extremely well dressed cousin, Le Défilé is designed as a public spectacle and will also be streamed online.
The event mixes fashion with beauty, putting makeup and hair looks at the centre of the runway instead of treating them as background details.
It also gives us our first major visual moment of Paris Fashion Week before the schedule really gets chaotic.
