Casablanca, cancel whatever you were pretending you had planned for Thursday.
L’Boulevard officially returns tomorrow, September 17, and the festival is wasting absolutely no time.
Day one is dedicated to Rap and Hip-Hop, with Dizzy Dros, Figoshin, BO9AL and DJ Fly taking over the R.U.C. Stadium in Casablanca.
And yes: Entry is free.
The festival opens from 4 PM, with the Souk and parallel activities getting underway before the evening performances.
But the established names aren’t the only reason to go.
L’Boulevard’s Tremplin is also back, giving seven emerging Rap/Hip-Hop acts a chance to perform in front of a festival crowd.
That means tomorrow isn’t only about seeing some of the biggest names in Moroccan rap.
You might also accidentally see one of the next ones before everybody starts pretending they knew them first.
For Dizzy Dros, the appearance is particularly fitting.
The Casablanca rapper returns to L’Boulevard after previous appearances in 2013 and 2019, this time following the release of his 2026 album AFLAM. He’s also performing with a live band.
Very much a “Casablanca rapper returning home” situation.
And Rap Day is only the beginning.
L’Boulevard runs September 17-20, bringing together rap, metal, fusion and alternative music alongside the festival’s famous Souk and emerging-artist programme.
But tomorrow?Tomorrow belongs to Moroccan rap.
