Shinohidden, Metrotune and Lixivia are the winners of this year’s Tremplin L’Boulevard, the long-running competition designed to give emerging Moroccan musicians something that can be surprisingly difficult to find: a real stage and an audience willing to discover someone new.
Shinohidden took the rap/hip-hop category, Metrotune won fusion and Lixivia came out on top in rock/metal.

That diversity is exactly why Tremplin remains one of the most interesting parts of L’Boulevard.
The competition has been around since 1999, long before “discovering an artist” meant hearing 12 seconds of their song while scrolling TikTok. Over the years, hundreds of artists and bands have passed through the programme, making it an unofficial laboratory for Morocco’s alternative music scene.
