Some concerts entertain…
Others become part of a festival’s history.
That was the case when Lauryn Hill and Juanes took over the Casa Anfa Stage at Jazzablanca 2026, delivering what many are already calling one of the festival’s greatest nights.

The evening opened with Colombian superstar Juanes.
Blending Latin rock, pop and traditional Colombian rhythms, the Grammy-winning artist had the crowd singing along to global hits like La Camisa Negra, Me Enamora and Fotografía, setting the perfect tone for the night.

Then came Ms. Lauryn Hill.
The legendary singer, rapper and songwriter delivered a powerful performance that celebrated both her iconic solo career and her time with The Fugees.
The atmosphere reached another level when Wyclef Jean joined her on stage for surprise performances of classics including Ready or Not, Fu-Gee-La and Killing Me Softly, sending the audience into a wave of nostalgia.

The surprises didn’t stop there.
Lauryn Hill was also joined by her sons, YG Marley and Zion Marley—grandsons of reggae legend Bob Marley.
Their appearance created a unique bridge between generations, celebrating one of music’s most influential family legacies.

The concert perfectly reflected Jazzablanca’s evolution.
Once known primarily as a jazz festival, it has grown into one of Africa’s premier music festivals, bringing together international icons from soul, hip-hop, Latin music, rock and jazz while showcasing Morocco as a global cultural destination.

With more than 50 artists performing over 10 days, the 2026 edition has reinforced Casablanca’s reputation as one of the continent’s leading music capitals.
And for many festivalgoers…
The night shared by Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Juanes wasn’t just another concert—it was one of those rare performances people will still be talking about years from now.
