We’ve all done it.

You’re driving with your favorite song blasting through the speakers.

The energy is perfect.

Then you arrive at your destination…

You start parking…

And without even thinking about it…

You lower the volume.

Why?

After all, your ears still work the same.

So what changes?

─────────

According to psychologists, this surprisingly common habit reveals something fascinating about how the human brain manages attention.

When we’re performing a simple task, like driving on an open road, our brain can easily process music and the environment at the same time.

But parking is different.

It requires precision.

Distance judgment.

Spatial awareness.

And constant visual attention.

─────────

To handle that extra mental workload, the brain instinctively tries to reduce unnecessary stimulation.

The easiest thing to eliminate?

The music.

It’s an unconscious way of freeing cognitive resources so we can focus on the task at hand.

─────────

Researchers call this cognitive load.

Our brain has a limited amount of attention available at any given moment.

When a situation becomes more demanding, it naturally filters out distractions—even if those distractions are enjoyable.

That’s why many people lower the volume while parking, searching for an address or driving through heavy traffic.

─────────

Interestingly, this behavior isn’t a sign of weakness.

Quite the opposite.

It shows that the brain is constantly prioritizing what it considers most important in the moment.

It’s an automatic survival mechanism designed to improve concentration and reduce mistakes.

─────────

And this phenomenon goes far beyond driving.

Many people lower the TV volume while reading.

Others pause music before sending an important email.

Some even ask for silence while solving a simple problem.

It’s all the same process:

The brain is asking for more mental bandwidth.

─────────

So the next time you instinctively reach for the volume knob while parking…

Remember that your ears aren’t helping you park.

Your brain is simply making room to think.

A tiny everyday gesture…

That reveals just how extraordinary the human mind really is.

─────────

And now that you know the science behind it… think about it for a second: what’s the strange little habit you do without realizing it that your brain might actually be using to help you concentrate?

Some football stories are bigger than goals.

Bigger than trophies.

Sometimes…

They’re about choices.

Identity.

And destiny.

─────────

Before becoming one of Spain’s biggest stars, Lamine Yamal had another option.

Thanks to his Moroccan roots through his father, the Barcelona prodigy was eligible to represent Morocco on the international stage.

For months, the Royal Moroccan Football Federation tried to convince him to wear the Atlas Lions jersey.

But in the end…

Yamal chose Spain.

─────────

Now, as the 2026 FIFA World Cup unfolds, that decision is making headlines once again.

Fouzi Lekjaa, president of the Moroccan Football Federation, revealed that he hopes Morocco and Spain will meet in the World Cup final.

Not out of revenge.

But to see whether Lamine Yamal « made the right choice. »

─────────

The statement quickly spread across the football world.

Some saw it as a playful challenge.

Others interpreted it as a reminder that Morocco never stopped believing Yamal could have become the face of its golden generation.

After all, the Atlas Lions have become one of the fastest-rising football nations on the planet.

─────────

For Yamal, however, the decision has always been clear.

Born and raised in Spain, developed at La Masia, and already a European champion with La Roja, he has repeatedly said that Spain feels like home and that representing the country where he grew up was a natural choice.

─────────

Yet this story reflects a much bigger reality in modern football.

More and more elite players grow up with multiple cultures, multiple passports and multiple national identities.

Choosing a national team is no longer just a sporting decision.

It’s often a deeply personal one.

One that can define an entire career.

─────────

And perhaps that’s what makes football so unique.

One signature.

One jersey.

One decision made as a teenager…

Can shape the dreams of millions of supporters for years to come.

─────────

As the World Cup continues, one possibility is already capturing everyone’s imagination…

What if Morocco and Spain really do meet in the final? And if they do, would that become the most emotional match of Lamine Yamal’s career?

For an entire generation…

There was one game that defined arcades.

Explosions everywhere.

Ridiculous bosses.

Hand-drawn pixel art.

And one unforgettable tank.

Metal Slug wasn’t just a game.

It was a legend.

And now, 30 years after its debut…

SNK is bringing it back in a big way.

─────────

To celebrate the franchise’s 30th anniversary, SNK has officially announced two brand-new Metal Slug projects, proving that one of gaming’s most iconic run-and-gun series is far from over.

For longtime fans, it’s the comeback they’ve been waiting for.

─────────

The first title is Metal Slug Rush, a mobile game developed by RingGames that takes the franchise in a new direction.

Inspired by survival-action gameplay, players control Marco Rossi while fighting endless waves of enemies, collecting increasingly powerful weapons and iconic gear from across the series.

It’s a fresh take on the classic formula while keeping the explosive spirit that made Metal Slug famous.

─────────

But that’s only half the story.

SNK has also confirmed that a second, completely new Metal Slug game is currently in development.

For now, almost everything remains secret.

No gameplay.

No release date.

No official details.

Only one promise:

A brand-new Metal Slug experience is on the way.

─────────

That announcement has already sparked massive speculation across the gaming community.

Will it be a full reboot?

A return to the legendary 2D pixel-art style?

Or a modern evolution built for a new generation of players?

Nobody knows yet.

But expectations are sky-high.

─────────

Metal Slug has always been more than just another shooter.

Its handcrafted animations, chaotic action and unforgettable humor made it one of the greatest arcade franchises ever created.

Even today, its visual style remains instantly recognizable.

Thirty years later…

Very few games have managed to capture that same magic.

─────────

SNK says its « Mission Reboot » celebration is only just beginning, with more announcements expected in the coming months.

For fans of retro gaming, this could be the start of one of the biggest comebacks of the decade.

─────────

As the countdown to Metal Slug’s new era begins, one question is already echoing across the gaming world…

Can a new Metal Slug recapture the magic of the arcade classics, or are some legends simply impossible to recreate?

For years…

He has been one of the most gifted heavyweights in mixed martial arts.

Fast.

Technical.

Almost impossible to hit cleanly.

But critics always asked the same question:

Could Ciryl Gane become champion again?

Tonight, he gave his answer.

─────────

At the historic UFC White House event, the French superstar faced former two-division champion Alex Pereira, who was attempting to make history by becoming the UFC’s first-ever three-division champion.

Instead…

History belonged to Gane.

─────────

After a cautious opening round, Gane took complete control of the fight.

Using his movement, precision and elite striking, he gradually dismantled Pereira before landing a devastating combination that forced the referee to stop the contest in the second round.

Technical knockout.

A statement victory on one of the biggest stages the UFC has ever produced.

─────────

With that performance, Ciryl Gane becomes interim UFC heavyweight champion for the second time in his career, an achievement reached by only a handful of fighters in the promotion’s history.

But for Gane, the belt is only part of the story.

His eyes are already fixed on the undisputed champion.

─────────

Immediately after the fight, the Frenchman called for a showdown with Tom Aspinall at UFC Paris this September, hoping to settle unfinished business after their previous title fight ended in a no-contest following an accidental eye poke.

If the UFC grants his wish…

France could witness one of the biggest MMA events in its history.

─────────

For Alex Pereira, the defeat ends his dream of becoming a three-division UFC champion.

But for Ciryl Gane, it marks the beginning of a new chapter.

One where the undisputed heavyweight title is once again within reach.

─────────

The heavyweight division has never been more exciting.

And one thing is becoming increasingly clear:

Ciryl Gane isn’t chasing history anymore…

He’s creating it.

─────────

As the road to UFC Paris begins, one debate is already taking over the MMA world…

Can Ciryl Gane finally become France’s first undisputed UFC champion, or will Tom Aspinall prove to be the final obstacle standing in his way?

For more than five years…

Fans have asked the same question:

« When is Black Clover coming back? »

After endless rumors and speculation…

The answer is finally here.

And Asta’s journey is about to continue.

─────────

The new Black Clover anime has officially been confirmed for October 2026, marking the long-awaited return of one of the biggest shōnen series of the last decade. Studio Pierrot is once again in charge of the animation, promising a major visual upgrade for the continuation of the story.

─────────

The new season will pick up where the original anime left off, adapting the explosive events of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, one of the most intense and action-packed storylines in Yūki Tabata’s manga.

Expect bigger battles.

More powerful transformations.

And the next stage of Asta’s dream to become the Wizard King.

─────────

But one question keeps appearing across social media:

Will the new season be available on Netflix?

For now, no worldwide Netflix release has been officially confirmed.

Crunchyroll is widely expected to remain the main international streaming platform, while regional licensing agreements could still bring the anime to Netflix in selected countries at a later date.

─────────

The return of Black Clover also marks the comeback of one of anime’s biggest rivalries.

Asta and Yuno.

Two orphans.

One impossible dream.

And a friendship that has pushed both of them beyond their limits since the very beginning.

It’s a story that has inspired millions of fans around the world.

─────────

After years of silence, the Clover Kingdom is finally opening its doors once again.

And if the new season delivers on its promises…

Black Clover could reclaim its place among the biggest modern shōnen franchises.

─────────

As the countdown officially begins, anime fans everywhere are already debating one thing…

Will Black Clover become the biggest anime comeback of 2026, or will another series steal the spotlight before Asta returns?

For nearly two decades…

One studio has become synonymous with one name:

Yakuza.

A series that turned the streets of Japan into one of gaming’s most unforgettable playgrounds.

But now…

The developers at Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are taking a bold new direction.

And it could become their most ambitious project yet.

─────────

Introducing Stranger Than Heaven.

A brand-new IP that moves away from gang wars and criminal empires to explore something far more personal:

The contrasts of Japan itself.

Its beauty and its darkness.

Its traditions and its modernity.

Its hopes and its contradictions.

─────────

According to the studio, the goal isn’t simply to create another action game.

It’s to build an emotional journey that explores the « light and shadow » of Japanese society, blending investigation, human drama and philosophical questions in a way the team has never attempted before.

It’s a major shift for a studio known for explosive fights and eccentric side quests.

─────────

The first trailers already hint at a completely different atmosphere.

Dense urban environments.

Neon-lit streets hiding painful secrets.

Quiet moments that suddenly turn into intense confrontations.

The DNA of Yakuza is still there…

But the tone feels darker, more mature and deeply introspective.

─────────

For Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, this project represents freedom.

Freedom to tell new stories.

Freedom to create new characters.

And freedom to prove that the studio can be much more than the creators of one legendary franchise.

It’s a risky move.

But sometimes, the biggest creative leaps come from leaving your comfort zone behind.

─────────

Gaming is entering a new era where players crave original worlds as much as familiar sequels.

And Stranger Than Heaven could become one of the industry’s biggest surprises if it delivers on its promise of blending cinematic storytelling with authentic Japanese culture.

It’s not trying to replace Yakuza.

It’s trying to stand beside it.

─────────

As excitement continues to build, one question is already dividing gamers around the world…

Can a studio truly escape the shadow of its most iconic franchise, or will Stranger Than Heaven always be compared to Yakuza no matter how original it becomes?

For years…

It almost felt like the game didn’t exist.

No gameplay.

Very few updates.

And endless speculation from fans wondering if State of Decay 3 would ever see the light of day.

Now, everything has changed.

─────────

After years of silence, Undead Labs has finally unveiled the first real gameplay footage, confirming that State of Decay 3 is scheduled for 2027—and in a major surprise, it will launch not only on Xbox and PC, but also on PlayStation 5.

It’s another sign that Microsoft’s gaming strategy is evolving faster than ever.

─────────

But the biggest surprise isn’t the platform.

It’s the ambition.

The world is now four times larger than a single State of Decay 2 map, featuring dynamic zombie ecosystems, multiple settlements and a persistent shared world where up to four players can build and survive together.

This is no longer just a survival game.

It’s a post-apocalyptic civilization simulator.

─────────

Players will once again manage communities instead of a single hero, making difficult choices about who to recruit, where to settle and how to survive in a world overrun by the Blood Plague.

And one wrong decision could cost an entire survivor’s life forever.

Because permadeath is still at the heart of the experience.

─────────

The gameplay has also evolved.

New melee mechanics, weapon customization and the mysterious Plague Nests introduce a constantly changing threat that grows stronger if left unchecked.

The zombies aren’t just obstacles anymore.

They’re evolving.

And they’re fighting back.

─────────

Visually, the leap is just as impressive.

Built in Unreal Engine 5, the game features denser forests, abandoned towns reclaimed by nature and a darker atmosphere that feels closer to a horror movie than a traditional open-world survival game.

It’s easily the most ambitious project Undead Labs has ever attempted.

─────────

Perhaps the biggest story, however, is what this release represents.

An Xbox first-party franchise launching on PS5 would have been almost unthinkable a few years ago.

Today, it reflects an industry where platform boundaries are slowly disappearing and publishers are chasing players wherever they are.

The console wars are changing.

And so is gaming.

─────────

As the zombie genre prepares for another evolution, one debate is already taking over the community…

Which survival game deserves the crown: State of Decay 3, Dying Light, Days Gone, The Last of Us… or is another apocalypse still the greatest of them all?

The post State of Decay 3 Is Finally Taking Shape… And Xbox’s Zombie Saga Is Bigger Than Ever appeared first on La Nouvelle Tribune.

The hype was real.

The arena was sold out.

Thousands of fans came to Lyon expecting another dominant performance from one of France’s fastest-rising MMA prospects.

Instead…

They witnessed one of the biggest shocks of the year.

─────────

Headlining Hexagone MMA 45, the undefeated Paul Dena stepped into the cage against Anzor Baybatyrov, a dangerous striker known for his explosive power.

Many expected a long and tactical battle.

Nobody expected it to end in the opening minutes.

─────────

From the very first exchanges, Baybatyrov took the center of the cage and applied relentless pressure.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

A perfectly timed combination landed clean.

Dena crashed to the canvas.

The referee immediately stopped the fight.

First-round knockout.

The crowd fell silent.

─────────

For Baybatyrov, this victory changes everything.

He arrived as the underdog.

He left with the biggest win of his professional career, announcing himself as one of the names to watch on the European MMA scene.

Sometimes, one performance is enough to transform an entire career.

─────────

For Paul Dena, however, this is unfamiliar territory.

After building an impressive unbeaten record and earning the reputation of one of France’s brightest talents, he now faces the toughest challenge in combat sports:

How do you respond after your first major defeat?

─────────

History shows that many legends have experienced devastating losses before reaching the top.

Georges St-Pierre.

Charles Oliveira.

Alex Pereira.

Even the greatest champions have had nights they wanted to forget.

Sometimes, defeat becomes the foundation of greatness.

─────────

And that’s why MMA remains one of the most unpredictable sports on Earth.

Months of preparation…

Weeks of hype…

Years of work…

Can disappear in a matter of seconds.

One punch.

One mistake.

One moment.

That’s all it takes.

─────────

Now the spotlight shifts to what’s next.

Will Paul Dena use this setback as fuel for an even greater comeback, or has Anzor Baybatyrov just announced the arrival of Europe’s next MMA sensation?

For years, Xbox players have been waiting.

Hoping.

Imagining the return of one of gaming’s most legendary franchises.

Now, the wait is almost over.

And Gears of War: E-Day has finally lifted the curtain.

─────────

Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, the game takes players back to the terrifying Emergence Day, when the Locust Horde first erupted from beneath the planet Sera.

You’ll once again step into the boots of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago, witnessing the beginning of the nightmare that shaped the entire saga.

─────────

But this isn’t just a nostalgic prequel.

Xbox promises a completely modern experience powered by Unreal Engine 5, featuring ray tracing, destructible environments, revamped movement mechanics and a much darker horror atmosphere inspired by the original trilogy.

─────────

The multiplayer is also getting a major upgrade.

Classic Versus modes are back, alongside split-screen co-op and online campaign co-op.

But the biggest surprise is Horde Siege, a brand-new 12-player PvE mode where squads must survive massive waves of Locust while defending strategic positions.

A bigger scale than anything the franchise has attempted before.

─────────

And for fans eager to jump in early…

An Open Beta is scheduled for August, with early access available for players who pre-order the game.

The full release is set for October 6, 2026, exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC, confirming Microsoft’s renewed focus on major Xbox exclusives.

─────────

Beyond the graphics and gameplay, E-Day represents something bigger.

It’s the return of the brotherhood between Marcus and Dom.

The return of survival horror.

The return of chainsaws, impossible odds and unforgettable battles.

For many longtime players…

It feels like Xbox is finally bringing Gears back to its roots.

─────────

One thing is certain.

Twenty years after the original game changed third-person shooters forever…

Gears of War: E-Day is ready to remind everyone why the franchise became a legend.

─────────

Which Xbox franchise deserves the greatest comeback—Gears of War, Fable, Halo… or do you think a completely new IP will become Xbox’s next legendary saga?

The world is moving fast.

From Wall Street to Mars…

From the Middle East to Morocco…

Here are the four stories everyone is talking about today.

─────────

SpaceX is making history on Wall Street.

Elon Musk’s company has officially launched the largest IPO in U.S. history, raising $75 billion and reaching a valuation of nearly $1.8 trillion. But for Musk, this isn’t just about money.

He says the ultimate goal remains unchanged:

Building a self-sustaining city on Mars.

For investors, it’s the biggest financial event of the year.

For Musk, it’s only the next step toward another planet.

─────────

An historic agreement between Iran and the United States may be closer than ever.

After months of escalating tensions, diplomatic efforts appear to be gaining momentum, raising hopes that a new deal could reduce instability across the Middle East and ease pressure on global energy markets.

If successful, it could become one of the most significant geopolitical breakthroughs in years.

─────────

LONDA has officially launched its 2026 World Cup campaign.

With football fever sweeping across Morocco, the brand is unveiling a nationwide initiative designed to celebrate the Atlas Lions and bring fans together throughout the tournament.

Another sign that the World Cup is becoming much more than a sporting event—it’s becoming a national celebration.

─────────

Morocco’s healthcare reform is entering a new phase.

The new Territorial Health Groups (GST) are now becoming operational, marking a major step in the Kingdom’s effort to modernize healthcare management, improve coordination between hospitals and bring medical services closer to citizens.

It’s one of the biggest structural reforms of Morocco’s public health system in decades.

─────────

When you connect these stories together, one idea stands out.

Some are investing in the future of humanity.

Others are trying to reshape diplomacy.

Others are preparing for the world’s biggest sporting event.

And Morocco continues its transformation through major economic and social reforms.

─────────

So here’s today’s question: what will define the future the most—technological ambition, diplomatic breakthroughs, sporting unity, or investments in better public services?

If you thought this summer would be quiet…

Think again.

Between blockbuster movies, music festivals, African cinema and next-generation gaming…

The entertainment world is moving faster than ever.

─────────

Let’s start with the big screen.

Because 2026 has already delivered its share of surprises.

Some films became global phenomena, breaking expectations and dominating the box office.

Others, despite massive budgets and huge marketing campaigns, failed to connect with audiences.

The lesson?

In 2026, star power alone is no longer enough.

Viewers want originality, emotion and experiences worth leaving home for.

Hollywood is learning that the hard way.

─────────

But cinema isn’t just about billion-dollar blockbusters.

Across Africa, a different movement is gaining momentum.

CINÉ.AFRICA continues to showcase stories, filmmakers and talents from across the continent, proving that African cinema is entering a new era of creativity and international recognition.

More authentic stories.

More local voices.

And a growing audience eager to discover them.

The global film industry is becoming more diverse than ever.

─────────

Meanwhile, Morocco is preparing for one of its busiest cultural summers.

From music festivals to artistic events and outdoor celebrations, cities across the Kingdom are getting ready to welcome thousands of visitors.

Whether it’s Mawazine, Jazzablanca or dozens of regional festivals, culture is becoming one of Morocco’s strongest tourism assets.

The country isn’t just attracting travelers with its landscapes anymore.

It’s attracting them with experiences.

─────────

And while some people will spend their evenings in front of a stage…

Others will spend them in front of a screen.

Because Mortal Shell 2 has just opened its beta, giving players a first look at one of the most anticipated Souls-like games of the next generation.

The first impressions?

Dark.

Brutal.

Beautiful.

With a much larger interconnected world and spectacular visuals, many players already believe it could become one of the biggest action RPGs of 2026.

─────────

And that’s what makes this summer so fascinating.

Cinema is reinventing itself.

Festivals are bringing people together.

African culture is gaining global visibility.

And video games continue pushing technology and creativity to new heights.

Entertainment has never been so diverse.

Or so competitive.

─────────

One thing is certain.

Whether you’re sitting in a movie theater…

Dancing at a festival…

Or fighting impossible bosses in a Souls-like…

This summer is proving that culture is still one of the best ways to escape reality.

─────────

So here’s the question: if you could only choose one experience this summer, would you buy a movie ticket, a festival pass… or disappear for hundreds of hours into a game like Mortal Shell 2?

Turn on the news.

And chances are you’ll hear the same names again and again:

Israel.

Palestine.

Iran.

Lebanon.

Syria.

Gaza.

For many people, it feels like the Middle East has always been at war.

But the reality is far more complex.

To understand today’s conflict…

You have to go back more than a century.

─────────

After World War I, the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

European powers divided much of the Middle East, creating new borders that often ignored ethnic and religious realities.

At the same time, the Zionist movement sought to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine, where Jewish and Arab communities already lived together.

Tensions quickly grew.

─────────

Everything changed in 1948.

Following the Holocaust and a United Nations partition plan, the State of Israel was officially created.

For Jewish communities, it represented the realization of a historic homeland.

For hundreds of thousands of Palestinians, it marked the beginning of displacement and exile, an event known as the Nakba, or « catastrophe. »

The first Arab-Israeli war erupted almost immediately.

And the conflict has never truly ended.

─────────

Over the following decades, Israel fought multiple wars against neighboring Arab states.

In 1967, during the Six-Day War, Israel captured East Jerusalem, the West Bank, Gaza, the Golan Heights and the Sinai Peninsula.

Some territories were later returned.

Others remain at the center of today’s conflict.

Their status is still one of the world’s biggest diplomatic disputes.

─────────

Meanwhile, the Palestinian national movement evolved.

Groups like the PLO emerged, followed later by Hamas, which took control of Gaza in 2007.

Israel considers Hamas a terrorist organization responsible for attacks against civilians.

Hamas presents itself as a resistance movement fighting Israeli occupation.

This fundamental disagreement fuels endless cycles of violence.

─────────

Then there is Iran.

Although it does not share a border with Israel, Tehran has become one of its biggest regional rivals.

Iran supports armed groups such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and other allied organizations across the region.

Israel views these alliances as a direct threat to its existence.

Iran sees them as part of its strategy to counter Israeli and American influence.

As a result…

The conflict is no longer just Israeli-Palestinian.

It has become regional.

─────────

Everything escalated dramatically after the October 7, 2023 attacks, when Hamas launched an unprecedented assault inside Israel, killing civilians and taking hostages.

Israel responded with a massive military campaign in Gaza.

Since then, thousands of lives have been lost, entire neighborhoods have been destroyed, and one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises has unfolded.

The war has also spread through missile exchanges, proxy groups and military operations involving Lebanon, Syria, Yemen and Iran.

─────────

But this conflict isn’t only about religion.

Or territory.

It’s also about history.

Security.

Identity.

Politics.

And power.

Israel wants guarantees that its citizens can live safely.

Palestinians seek recognition, statehood and an end to occupation.

Regional powers pursue their own strategic interests.

And global powers such as the United States, Russia and China all have stakes in the region.

─────────

The consequences reach far beyond the Middle East.

Oil prices fluctuate.

Global trade routes are threatened.

Refugee crises intensify.

Financial markets react.

And every escalation raises fears of a much larger regional war.

What happens in Gaza or Tehran can affect economies thousands of kilometers away.

─────────

Despite decades of negotiations, peace agreements and international mediation…

A lasting solution remains elusive.

The idea of two states continues to be debated.

So does the future of Jerusalem.

So does the fate of millions of Palestinians and Israelis who simply want to live in peace.

─────────

One thing is certain.

The Middle East conflict is not a single war.

It is the result of more than 100 years of history, competing national identities, geopolitical rivalries and unresolved territorial disputes.

Understanding it means accepting that there are no simple answers.

Only a long history that continues to shape the world we live in today.

─────────

So here’s the question: can a conflict rooted in more than a century of history ever truly be solved… or will future generations inherit the same struggle unless a completely new path to peace is found?

The UFC may dominate the headlines…

But French MMA is growing faster than ever.

And tonight, all eyes are on Lyon, where Hexagone MMA 45 could reveal the next superstar of the sport.

─────────

The main event features one of France’s brightest prospects:

Paul Dena.

Still undefeated as a professional, the 24-year-old enters the biggest fight of his career against Anzor Baybatyrov, a dangerous finisher with more experience and six wins in eight professional bouts.

─────────

What makes this matchup so exciting?

Neither man likes leaving the judges with any work to do.

Dena has built his reputation on explosive performances.

Baybatyrov has finished every one of his victories before the final bell.

Someone’s momentum could come to an end tonight.

─────────

But this event is bigger than one fight.

Hexagone MMA has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing MMA promotions, helping develop a new generation of French talent while attracting larger arenas and international attention.

With the UFC expanding globally, organizations like Hexagone MMA are becoming the perfect launching pad for tomorrow’s stars.

─────────

The event begins with the preliminary card at 7:00 PM, streamed on Twitch, before the main card starts at 9:00 PM on RMC Sport 1.

The highly anticipated Dena vs. Baybatyrov main event is expected to take place around 11:00 PM.

─────────

One thing is certain.

French MMA has never had so much momentum.

And tonight could be another step toward producing the country’s next international star.

─────────

So here’s the question: who will become the next global MMA powerhouse after the UFC generation—France, the UK, or another country ready to surprise the combat sports world?

Pinterest is deepening its partnership with Amazon by rolling out a new feature that allows creators

to directly connect their Amazon Storefronts to their Pinterest profiles.

─────────

This integration is designed to strengthen the platform’s growing focus on the creator economy,

making it easier for influencers to monetize content through affiliate links and product recommendations.

─────────

Once connected, creators can automatically showcase their Amazon Storefront on Pinterest, giving users

a direct path to curated product collections they already feature across social media platforms.

Snapchat is introducing new safety restrictions for its youngest users, tightening how content can be shared on its platform.

─────────

Under the new update, users aged 13 to 15 will no longer be able to post publicly

viewable content on Spotlight, Snapchat’s short-form video feed.

Instead, their posts will only be shared with mutual friends, creating a more private

environment and reducing exposure to strangers online.

─────────

The company is also rolling out dedicated profiles for under-16 users, where Stories and Spotlight

content are only visible to approved friends, not the wider public.

These profiles will also remove engagement metrics such as “likes” or favorite counts, in an effort

to reduce social pressure and comparison among teens.

─────────

Previously, younger teens could still contribute to Spotlight in a limited way, but their content

was not clearly tied to a public profile. The new policy removes even that level of public exposure.

─────────

This change reflects a broader industry trend, as social platforms face increasing pressure

from regulators and governments to strengthen protections for minors online.

─────────

One thing is clear:

Snapchat is shifting toward a more controlled, private experience for teens, prioritizing safety over public visibility.

Jeff Bezos’ AI startup Prometheus has raised $12 billion in a Series B funding round,

pushing its valuation to around $41 billion and marking one of the largest investments ever in industrial artificial intelligence.

The company, co-led by Bezos and former Google executive Vik Bajaj, is focused on developing what

it calls an “artificial general engineer”—an AI system designed to accelerate the design and production of

complex physical products such as jet engines, medical devices, and advanced industrial systems.

─────────

In a context where AI investment is rapidly shifting from chatbots to real-world applications…

Prometheus represents a new phase of artificial intelligence focused not on conversation,

but on engineering the physical world itself.

The startup aims to shorten long industrial cycles—turning processes that can take years,

such as prototyping and manufacturing, into significantly faster AI-assisted workflows.

Unlike traditional robotics or factory automation companies, Prometheus positions itself at a higher level:

building AI systems that can design, optimize, and potentially reimagine entire engineering processes.

─────────

The funding round includes major institutional investors such as JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, BlackRock,

alongside Bezos himself, signaling strong confidence in the future of “physical AI” technologies.

The company is also part of a broader trend where tech leaders are increasingly betting on AI systems that move

beyond software and directly impact industries like aerospace, healthcare, and manufacturing.

the opening ceremony in Mexico formed part of a wider series of celebrations across three countries,

marking the start of the biggest edition of the tournament to date.

The Mexico City stage featured a strong Latin and international lineup, reflecting the cultural diversity of the competition.

─────────

Alongside Shakira and Burna Boy, a major ensemble of artists took the stage, including Alejandro Fernández, Belinda,

When people think of Mawazine…

They think of global superstars.

International pop icons.

Massive concerts.

But this year…

One stage is putting the spotlight exactly where it belongs:

Africa.

─────────

From June 19 to June 27, the Bouregreg Stage in Rabat will become a celebration of the continent’s incredible musical diversity, bringing together artists from every corner of Africa.

─────────

The journey begins with The Ancestors from Togo before welcoming Ghanaian superstar Stonebwoy, one of the biggest names in Afrodancehall.

Then comes Guinea’s rising Afrobeats sensation Djelykaba Bintou, followed by Angola’s energetic pop icon Pongo.

─────────

The lineup keeps getting stronger.

Ivory Coast’s Serge Beynaud will bring his signature Coupé-Décalé energy.

Senegal’s legendary Orchestra Baobab returns with more than fifty years of musical history.

Zambian rapper Sampa The Great adds her unique blend of hip-hop and African sounds.

Malian legend Oumou Sangaré brings one of the continent’s most iconic voices.

And the closing night belongs to Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz, one of Africa’s biggest global artists.

─────────

More than a concert series…

It’s a showcase of Africa’s cultural power.

From Afrobeats and Coupé-Décalé to Afro-pop, rap and traditional rhythms, the Bouregreg Stage reflects a continent whose music is conquering playlists around the world.

─────────

At a time when African artists dominate international charts and collaborate with the biggest names in music, Mawazine reminds everyone that the continent isn’t following global trends anymore.

It’s creating them.

─────────

One thing is certain.

For nine nights, Rabat won’t just host a festival.

It will become one of the biggest stages for African music anywhere in the world.

─────────

So here’s the question: if you could only attend one performance at Mawazine 2026, who are you choosing—Stonebwoy, Diamond Platnumz, Oumou Sangaré, Orchestra Baobab… or another African artist who deserves even more global recognition?

The Pacific Ocean is warming again.

And whenever that happens…

The entire planet pays attention.

Because El Niño is officially back, bringing with it the possibility of stronger heatwaves, heavier rainfall, severe droughts and major disruptions to weather patterns across the globe.

─────────

But what exactly is El Niño?

It’s a natural climate phenomenon caused by an unusual warming of surface waters in the central and eastern Pacific Ocean.

Even though it develops thousands of kilometers away, it has the power to influence weather on every continent.

─────────

Scientists are now warning that this new episode could become moderate to strong, with effects expected to intensify during the coming months.

The result?

More extreme weather.

More climate instability.

And potentially another surge in global temperatures.

─────────

Historically, El Niño has been associated with devastating droughts in some regions and catastrophic floods in others.

It can alter agricultural production, impact food prices, increase wildfire risks and put additional pressure on water resources around the world.

In short…

It’s not just a weather event.

It’s an economic and humanitarian challenge.

─────────

For Morocco and North Africa, the impacts are often less direct than in the Pacific region, but El Niño can still influence rainfall patterns and temperatures through broader atmospheric changes affecting the Mediterranean basin.

That’s why meteorologists across the world monitor it so closely.

─────────

What makes this year’s event even more concerning is the context.

The planet is already experiencing record-breaking temperatures linked to climate change.

Adding a strong El Niño on top of that could push global heat to new extremes and multiply climate-related disasters.

─────────

One thing is certain.

The climate is becoming more unpredictable.

And every new El Niño reminds us that what happens in one ocean can reshape life on the other side of the world.

─────────

So here’s the question: do you think humanity is truly prepared for a future where extreme climate events become the new normal… or are we still underestimating how fast our planet is changing?

]]>
Writing code with AI is becoming normal.

But what if your AI could review your code, fix bugs, generate features and even learn from its own experience?

That’s exactly what Hermes Agent is trying to achieve.

And developers are paying attention.

─────────

Unlike a traditional chatbot, Hermes Agent isn’t limited to answering questions.

It acts like a real development assistant that can execute complex workflows, remember previous tasks and improve over time.

Think of it as an AI teammate rather than an AI search engine.

─────────

One of its biggest strengths is automated code review.

Instead of manually checking every pull request, the agent can analyze code quality, detect bad practices and suggest improvements before the code even reaches production.

A huge time saver for developers and teams alike.

─────────

Another powerful use case is debugging.

Hermes can analyze error logs, remember previous fixes and propose solutions based on problems it has already solved.

The more it works…

The smarter it becomes.

─────────

It can also generate complete features from simple instructions.

Describe the functionality you want, and the agent can scaffold files, write boilerplate code and even organize the project structure automatically.

Less repetitive work.

More time to focus on creativity.

─────────

Developers can also use Hermes to document projects, explain unfamiliar codebases or automate repetitive maintenance tasks that usually consume hours every week.

It’s not replacing programmers.

It’s removing the boring parts of programming.

─────────

Perhaps the most fascinating feature is its persistent memory.

Unlike many AI assistants that forget everything after each session, Hermes can retain workflows and create reusable skills from experience.

In other words…

It learns how you work.

And adapts over time.

─────────

As AI becomes more deeply integrated into software development, the role of programmers is evolving.

Tomorrow’s best developers may not be those who write the most code…

But those who know how to collaborate with intelligent agents.

─────────

So here’s the question: in five years, will AI simply assist developers… or will every programmer have a personal AI teammate writing half of their code?

Just days before Morocco’s World Cup opener…

The news every fan feared has been confirmed.

Nayef Aguerd will not play in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

And the reason goes far beyond simple precaution.

─────────

For months, the Atlas Lions’ defender had been fighting to recover from a persistent groin injury complicated by a pubic bone fracture.

Despite intensive rehabilitation and hopes of returning in time, the medical staff ultimately decided that the risk was simply too high.

─────────

Aguerd even trained with the squad in recent days, giving supporters hope that he could make a miraculous comeback.

But after further medical evaluations, Morocco chose not to gamble with the health of one of its defensive leaders.

─────────

His absence is a major setback.

Aguerd has been one of the pillars of Morocco’s defense in recent years, playing a crucial role during the country’s historic run to the 2022 World Cup semi-finals.

His experience, leadership and ability to play out from the back have become essential to the Atlas Lions’ identity.

─────────

To replace him, Morocco has called up Marwane Saâdane, while Amine Sbaï replaces the injured Abde Ezzalzouli, who also misses the tournament after suffering a knee injury.

─────────

The timing couldn’t be worse.

Morocco is about to begin one of the most important World Cups in its history, carrying the expectations of an entire continent after its legendary 2022 campaign.

Losing two key starters before the opening match is a serious challenge.

─────────

But football has often shown that adversity creates heroes.

Someone else will now have to step forward.

Someone else will have to write the next chapter of Morocco’s story.

And the Atlas Lions will hope that, even without Nayef Aguerd, their dream is still alive.

─────────

So here’s the question: can Morocco still make another historic World Cup run without Nayef Aguerd… or will his absence be the biggest challenge the Atlas Lions face before the tournament has even truly begun?

The post After Months of Silence, Berserk Is Finally Back… And Fans Can Breathe Again appeared first on La Nouvelle Tribune.

]]>
For Berserk fans…

Waiting has become part of the experience.

Weeks become months.

Months become years.

And every new chapter feels like an event.

Today, the wait is finally over.

─────────

After nearly nine months of hiatus, Chapter 384 has officially arrived, marking the return of one of the greatest manga ever created.

For millions of readers around the world, it’s much more than a simple new chapter.

It’s the continuation of a legend.

─────────

Since the passing of Kentaro Miura in 2021, the future of Berserk has remained uncertain.

His lifelong friend Kouji Mori, alongside Studio Gaga, chose to continue the story using only the plot details Miura had personally shared over decades of friendship.

A responsibility unlike any other in manga history.

─────────

According to Kouji Mori himself, Chapter 384 was one of the most difficult chapters to write.

He revealed that Miura had been thinking about this part of the story for almost twenty years, forcing the team to rewrite the dialogue countless times before finally reaching the version published today.

The pressure was enormous.

Because continuing Berserk means preserving one of the greatest artistic legacies in Japanese culture.

─────────

The good news doesn’t stop there.

Chapter 384 is expected to be the first of three consecutive releases, giving fans something they haven’t enjoyed in a very long time:

Regular Berserk chapters.

For a series famous for its endless hiatuses…

That’s almost unbelievable.

─────────

More than 35 years after its debut, Berserk remains one of the most influential dark fantasy stories ever written.

Its impact can be seen everywhere:

Dark Souls.

Elden Ring.

Final Fantasy.

Even modern cinema and video games continue to draw inspiration from Guts’ brutal journey.

─────────

Some mangas entertain.

Others inspire.

But only a handful become timeless.

And Berserk belongs to that rare category.

A story that continues to unite generations of readers despite tragedy, loss and the passing of its creator.

From Casablanca…

To San Francisco.

One Moroccan startup is about to step onto one of the biggest stages in global innovation.

And it could leave with a $1 million investment.

─────────

ORA Technologies has officially won the Startup World Cup Morocco 2026, becoming the country’s representative for the global final that will take place this November in San Francisco, alongside startups from more than 65 countries.

─────────

This isn’t just another startup competition.

The Startup World Cup is considered one of the world’s most prestigious entrepreneurship events, bringing together hundreds of investors and some of the most promising young companies on the planet.

Winning the Moroccan edition means ORA Technologies will now pitch its vision directly in the heart of Silicon Valley.

─────────

Founded around a simple idea—making digital services more accessible—ORA Technologies has built an ecosystem that combines e-commerce delivery, food delivery, digital payments and financial inclusion through products such as Cathedis, Kooul, ORA Cash and Babaa.

Its ambition is clear:

Bring millions of Moroccans into the digital economy.

─────────

The startup has already raised $15 million from Moroccan investors, employs around 300 people, and works with more than 1,300 delivery partners across the Kingdom.

Proof that Morocco’s tech ecosystem is no longer just emerging…

It’s scaling.

─────────

Beyond ORA’s success, this victory sends a much bigger message.

For the first time, Morocco has its own pathway to one of the world’s biggest startup competitions.

And local innovation is gaining visibility on the international stage.

─────────

In a world increasingly driven by AI, fintech and digital services, startups are becoming strategic assets for national economies.

Tomorrow’s global champions may not come from Silicon Valley alone.

They could come from Casablanca.

─────────

So here’s the question: could Morocco produce Africa’s next tech unicorn… and if so, will it come from fintech, AI, logistics—or an idea nobody has imagined yet?

The world never stands still.

While some regions are facing growing geopolitical tensions…

Others are investing in the future.

Here are the four stories shaping today’s headlines.

─────────

Amnesty International accuses Israel of a « state-led campaign of ethnic cleansing » against Bedouin communities in the occupied West Bank.

In a newly published report, the organization claims that forced displacement, settlement expansion and settler violence are part of a broader strategy to reshape parts of the territory. Israel has rejected similar accusations in the past, calling them biased and politically motivated, but the report is already reigniting international debate.

─────────

Benjamin Netanyahu is once again fighting to consolidate his political future.

Despite growing domestic criticism and increasing political pressure, the Israeli Prime Minister is seeking to strengthen his position while navigating one of the country’s most turbulent periods in recent years. His next decisions could have long-term consequences for Israeli politics and the wider region.

─────────

Casablanca is betting on sports tourism.

The city’s marathon is becoming much more than a race.

Local authorities see it as a strategic tool to attract international visitors, stimulate the local economy and position Casablanca as a major destination for sporting events across Africa.

─────────

Morocco’s textile recycling industry could create up to 30,000 jobs.

As the global fashion industry moves toward sustainability and circular production, Morocco is positioning itself as a future regional hub for textile recycling.

Beyond the environmental impact, the sector could generate thousands of jobs and open new industrial opportunities for the Kingdom.

─────────

When you connect these stories together, one idea emerges.

Some countries are confronting political crises.

Others are preparing for the industries of tomorrow.

And in a rapidly changing world, the ability to adapt may become the greatest competitive advantage of all.

─────────

So here’s today’s question: what will define the strongest nations of the next decade—political stability, economic innovation, or the ability to reinvent themselves before the rest of the world does?

The World Cup hasn’t even started…

Yet some of the biggest headlines aren’t about football.

They’re about airport security.

─────────

As national teams arrive in the United States for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, several delegations have been subjected to strict customs and immigration checks, with videos of players passing through metal detectors and luggage inspections going viral online.

For many fans, the images came as a surprise.

─────────

Some delegations underwent extensive screenings directly after landing, while others experienced lengthy immigration procedures before being allowed to enter the country.

In a few cases, visa issues and additional questioning even delayed members of official World Cup delegations.

─────────

The situation has sparked debate across social media.

Some see these measures as excessive for athletes representing their countries at the world’s biggest sporting event.

Others argue that the United States is simply applying its standard border security policies, regardless of who is entering the country.

─────────

FIFA has also reminded observers that immigration procedures remain the responsibility of the host nation, meaning football’s governing body has little influence over customs or visa decisions.

─────────

The controversy comes at a delicate moment.

The 2026 World Cup is expected to be the largest in history, featuring 48 national teams and millions of visitors across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Managing security while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere will be one of the tournament’s biggest challenges.

─────────

For now, the focus remains on preparation.

But these images have already raised an important question:

Can a nation host the world’s biggest sporting event while maintaining one of the strictest border control systems in the world?

─────────

One thing is certain.

Before scoring goals…

Some teams first had to pass their toughest defensive line yet:

U.S. customs.

─────────

So here’s the debate: should athletes and official delegations receive special treatment during global events like the World Cup, or should the same immigration rules apply to everyone, no matter who they are?

For years, fans asked for just one thing.

« Remake Code: Veronica. »

After the success of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 4 Remake, many considered it the last great classic that deserved a modern comeback.

Now it’s finally happening.

And the first details are making longtime fans even more excited.

─────────

Set for release in 2027, Resident Evil: Veronica will completely rebuild the cult classic using Capcom’s RE Engine, with modern visuals, redesigned environments and a more cinematic approach to storytelling.

But this isn’t just a graphical upgrade.

It’s a reimagining.

─────────

The story still follows Claire Redfield, who continues her search for her brother Chris after the events of Resident Evil 2.

Captured and sent to the terrifying Rockfort Island, she finds herself trapped in one of the darkest chapters of the franchise, surrounded by zombies, monsters and the twisted Ashford family.

─────────

According to the latest information, Capcom wants to expand the narrative, modernize certain characters and make the atmosphere even more oppressive than in the 2000 original.

The goal isn’t simply to recreate nostalgia.

It’s to make Veronica feel like a brand-new Resident Evil experience.

─────────

Another detail has already caught players’ attention.

The remake is expected to feature larger groups of zombies in several sections, creating more chaotic encounters and forcing players to rethink how they manage ammunition and survival.

For a franchise built on tension and limited resources, that could completely change the gameplay.

─────────

Many fans even argue that Code: Veronica was always the true sequel to Resident Evil 2, despite never receiving the numbered title.

Its story introduced major characters and plotlines that would later shape the entire saga.

That’s why this remake feels so important.

It’s not just reviving an old game.

It’s restoring a missing piece of Resident Evil history.

─────────

One thing is certain.

After years of rumors and requests…

Capcom has finally answered one of the biggest demands from its community.

And if Resident Evil: Veronica delivers the same quality as the previous remakes…

2027 could become another unforgettable year for survival horror.

─────────

So here’s the debate: which Resident Evil deserves the title of greatest game in the franchise—Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 7… or do you think Veronica is finally about to get the recognition it has always deserved?

Your smartphone already replaces your camera.

Your wallet.

Your GPS.

Your music player.

But did you know it can also become a scientific instrument?

And no, you don’t need any extra hardware.

─────────

Modern Android smartphones are packed with sensors that most users completely ignore.

Accelerometers.

Gyroscopes.

Magnetometers.

Barometers.

GPS.

Microphones.

Even light sensors.

Together, they can transform your phone into a real portable laboratory.

─────────

With the right apps, you can measure sound levels, analyze movement, detect magnetic fields, estimate altitude, monitor acceleration, or even carry out simple physics experiments.

Your phone isn’t just a communication device anymore.

It’s a pocket-sized science kit.

─────────

Students can use it to study gravity and motion.

Hikers can measure elevation changes.

Musicians can analyze sound frequencies.

And curious minds can explore the world around them using tools they already carry every day.

─────────

The most surprising part?

Most of these capabilities rely on sensors that are already built into nearly every Android smartphone.

No expensive equipment.

No complicated setup.

Just software unlocking hardware that’s been there all along.

─────────

It’s another reminder that today’s smartphones are far more powerful than we realize.

We spend hours scrolling social media…

While carrying around a device capable of acting as a compass, a level, a seismograph, a decibel meter and even a mini laboratory.

─────────

Technology keeps adding new features every year.

But sometimes, the most impressive ones have been sitting in our pockets the whole time.

We just never thought to use them.

─────────

So here’s the question: what’s the most underrated thing your smartphone can do—replace a scanner, translate conversations in real time, become a scientific toolkit… or something even more surprising that most people still don’t know about?

Olympiacos failed to take advantage of their first opportunity to clinch the championship after

falling short in a tightly contested game that leaves the final series still alive.

─────────

Despite another strong performance from Evan Fournier, who led his team in scoring with

a high-impact offensive display, Olympiacos could not convert individual brilliance into a decisive team victory.

Reports highlight that Fournier was heavily involved throughout the match, carrying a major

offensive load and playing extended minutes in a physically demanding contest.

─────────

The game was decided in a tense closing stretch, where Olympiacos struggled to maintain efficiency

on key possessions, allowing their opponents to take control and force a continuation of the series.

─────────

This result means Olympiacos will have to wait for another opportunity to secure the title,

with pressure now shifting to the next matchup as the series becomes increasingly intense.

─────────

One thing is clear:

despite standout performances from their leader, Olympiacos will need a more balanced

collective effort if they want to close out the championship.

The Gnaoua and World Music Festival of Essaouira returns from June 25 to 27, 2026,

with a new edition centered on a powerful theme: the transmission of musical and cultural heritage.

─────────

Through this program, the festival highlights Gnaoua culture, an ancestral Moroccan heritage

now internationally recognized, and its role in connecting generations, artists, and global traditions.

─────────

As every year, Essaouira transforms into a major meeting point for artistic exchange, where maâlems

(master musicians) share the stage with international artists, creating unique musical fusions blending jazz, blues, Afro sounds, and contemporary influences.

─────────

Beyond concerts, this edition places strong emphasis on transmission, encouraging dialogue between

established artists and emerging talent, while also hosting discussions on culture and intangible heritage.

Gnaoua culture evolves while staying rooted in its traditions.

As artificial intelligence becomes a core business tool…

Moroccan companies are increasingly being challenged to go beyond simply using AI and start building

the capabilities needed to control and adapt it to their own needs.

─────────

During the third edition of the AIConférence by Holmarcom in Casablanca, business leaders and experts

discussed a growing concern: the risk of becoming dependent on foreign AI platforms without

mastering the data, processes, and knowledge that create value.

─────────

The discussions highlighted that the real issue is no longer whether companies should adopt AI,

but how they can do so while protecting their data, strengthening their expertise, and maintaining strategic autonomy.

─────────

Experts also warned against what they described as a potential « cognitive defeat »—a situation where

employees rely so heavily on AI-generated content that critical thinking, creativity, and independent problem-solving begin to decline.

─────────

Another key takeaway focused on data ownership. While many organizations may have access

to the same AI models, the real competitive advantage will come from their ability to leverage their own data, industry knowledge, and local expertise.

─────────

For Morocco, the challenge is therefore not to compete directly with global tech giants, but to develop AI

solutions tailored to local languages, industries, customers, and business realities.

─────────

One thing is clear:

the future of AI in Morocco will not be determined by how many tools companies adopt, but by how

effectively they transform those tools into locally controlled knowledge, innovation, and value creation.

Morocco’s stock market extended its decline on June 10, 2026, with the MASI index falling 1.96% to close at 18,142 points.

The drop comes after an already negative week for the market, gradually erasing part of the gains accumulated earlier this year.

─────────

Trading activity remained significant, with a total market turnover of 283 million dirhams,

reflecting sustained investor activity despite the downturn.

─────────

The latest decline pushed the market’s year-to-date performance further into negative territory,

with the MASI now showing a 3.73% loss since the beginning of 2026.

─────────

Market breadth also highlighted the weakness of the session.

At the closing bell, 45 stocks finished lower, compared with just 13 gainers, while 4 stocks remained unchanged.

─────────

The figures suggest that selling pressure was widespread across the market rather than concentrated in a handful of sectors.

Investors are now closely watching upcoming corporate results and economic indicators to assess whether the market can stabilize in the coming weeks.

─────────

One thing is clear:

the Casablanca Stock Exchange is going through a significant correction phase, as investors reassess market valuations after months of strong performance.

L’autre coup dur concerne Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.

New York – New Jersey Stadium.

Every few years…

An action movie comes out that changes the rules.

The Raid.

John Wick.

Mad Max: Fury Road.

And now…

Many critics believe The Furious could be the next name on that list.

─────────

Directed by Kenji Tanigaki, one of Asia’s most respected action choreographers, the film follows a father who launches a relentless mission to rescue his kidnapped daughter, teaming up with a journalist driven by his own thirst for justice.

But let’s be honest…

Nobody is talking about the story.

They’re talking about the fights.

─────────

Festival audiences and early critics describe The Furious as a non-stop adrenaline rush, packed with brutally realistic martial arts choreography and inventive action sequences that push the genre to another level.

Some have even compared its intensity to The Raid, calling it one of the most spectacular action films in years.

─────────

What makes it so different?

Almost everything becomes a weapon.

Bicycles.

Chains.

Furniture.

Walls.

The environment itself becomes part of the choreography, turning every fight into a carefully orchestrated dance of chaos.

─────────

The cast also brings together martial arts legends including Joe Taslim, Yayan Ruhian, JeeJa Yanin and Xie Miao, performers known for delivering physical action rather than relying on CGI.

The result feels raw.

Violent.

And refreshingly old-school.

─────────

Of course, the film isn’t perfect.

Several critics point out that the plot remains simple and the dialogue secondary.

But that’s almost beside the point.

Because The Furious doesn’t aim to reinvent storytelling.

It aims to remind audiences what action cinema looks like when stunt performers are the real stars.

─────────

In an era dominated by superheroes and green screens…

This movie bets everything on choreography, physical performance and practical combat.

And judging by the early reactions…

That gamble may have paid off.

─────────

So here’s the debate: what is the greatest action film ever made—The Raid, John Wick, Mad Max: Fury Road… or could The Furious become the new king of action cinema?

Kamehameha.

Just hearing that word is enough to trigger childhood memories for millions of fans around the world.

It’s probably the most famous attack in anime history.

But here’s the surprising part:

Akira Toriyama never liked giving names to special attacks.

─────────

The legendary creator of Dragon Ball believed that shouting the name of an attack during a fight wasn’t realistic.

In his eyes, a real martial artist wouldn’t stop to announce their move.

They would simply attack.

So originally, Toriyama had no intention of naming techniques at all.

─────────

But his editor thought differently.

He believed memorable attack names would help readers identify characters and make battles even more iconic.

Toriyama eventually agreed…

Reluctantly.

And that decision would change manga history forever.

─────────

Ironically, the very first named technique—the Kamehameha—wasn’t even an idea Toriyama came up with by himself.

Unable to find the right name, he turned to his wife, who suggested « Kamehameha », inspired by the famous Hawaiian king.

The name was unusual.

Easy to remember.

And it became legendary.

─────────

From that moment on, Dragon Ball was filled with unforgettable attacks:

Final Flash.

Galick Gun.

Makankōsappō.

Masenko.

Genkidama.

Moves that became as iconic as the characters themselves.

And yet, none of them were part of Toriyama’s original vision.

─────────

It’s a reminder that sometimes, the greatest ideas are born from compromise.

Without that editorial push…

The Kamehameha might never have existed.

And anime history would probably sound very different today.

─────────

One thing is certain.

More than forty years later, millions of fans across the world still raise their hands, cup them together…

And whisper the same word before launching an imaginary energy blast.

Ka… Me… Ha… Me… HAAAAA!

─────────
