Casablanca has plans for you this week.
The Biennale Euro-Africa is taking over Anfa Park from October 15 to 18, and the programme is basically a mix of everything Gen Z actually cares about.
Music. Skating. Manga. Outdoor cinema. Art.
And the best part?
A big part of the programme is free.
The opening day brings a Noss/Noss concert featuring Collectif +212, while October 16 leans more into comics, manga and electronic music with sets from 4S’ and Piñata Radio.
Then the weekend gets even busier.
October 17 includes a skate jam bringing together Moroccan and Ghanaian crews, plus music from Glitter55, Atay Synth and Retro Cassetta.
And on October 18, the event closes with a block party mixing skateboarding and breakdance.
So basically, Anfa Park is turning into one big culture playground.
What makes this worth covering is that it does not feel like another formal festival where people show up, sit down and leave.
It is built around moving between things.
Watch a skate session.
Catch a DJ set.
Walk through an art installation.
End up at an outdoor screening.
That is much more how younger audiences actually consume culture now.
And for Casablanca, a city where people are always asking “what are we doing this weekend?”, this is an easy answer.
Four days. Multiple scenes. One park.
No need to invent plans this time.
