The last few weeks have been rough for Xbox.
Thousands of jobs were cut…
Studios were restructured…
And fans started asking the same question:
What happens to Bethesda now?
──────────
Todd Howard has finally addressed those concerns.
And despite the difficult situation…
His message is clear:
Bethesda isn’t slowing down.
──────────
The studio confirmed that The Elder Scrolls VI is now its top development priority.
At the same time…
Fallout 5 has officially entered pre-production, while Starfield will continue receiving new content and long-term support.
──────────
Howard also acknowledged the human impact of the layoffs.
He described the period as « very difficult » for the teams…
But insisted that Bethesda has gone through major changes before…
And intends to come out stronger once again.
──────────
For fans…
It’s a reassuring update.
Yes, Xbox is going through one of the biggest restructurings in its history.
But Bethesda’s biggest franchises…
The Elder Scrolls…
Fallout…
And Starfield…
Are still very much alive.
──────────
The road ahead may be uncertain…
But one thing hasn’t changed.
Tamriel’s next adventure is still coming.
And the wasteland isn’t done with us yet.
