Apple is about to change the iPhone game

stache tech

Tomorrow isn’t just another iPhone launch. Apple is reportedly doing something it hasn’t done in years.

Apple’s big September event is happening tomorrow, September 9, and the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to headline it. But there’s a twist:

There might not be a regular iPhone 18 this year.

Instead, Apple is expected to focus its fall launch on its premium models : the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and its first-ever foldable iPhone, reportedly called the iPhone Ultra. The standard iPhone 18, iPhone 18e and next iPhone Air are expected to arrive later, potentially in spring 2027.

And the foldable iPhone might finally be real

After years of rumours, Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable phone tomorrow.

Reports suggest a book-style design similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold, with a much higher price point ,potentially around $2,000+  roughly 18,800 DH.

Basically, Apple could be going from:

“Here’s the new iPhone.”

to:

“Here’s the expensive iPhone, the MORE expensive iPhone… and the phone that folds.”

What else is changing?

The iPhone 18 Pro is expected to get a smaller Dynamic Island, a new variable-aperture main camera, a next-generation A20 Pro chip and improved battery performance. New colour options are also rumoured, including blue and burgundy.

And this isn’t just a new iPhone era.

It’s also the first major Apple launch under new CEO John Ternus, who took over from Tim Cook on September 1.

So tomorrow could be one of Apple’s biggest product events in years.

Would you actually switch to a foldable iPhone  especially if it costs $2,000+? 👀
