Dexter Morgan is back. And apparently, one serial killer wasn’t enough for New York.

Season 2 of Dexter: Resurrection premieres today, October 30, on Paramount+, bringing Michael C. Hall back as television’s most famous blood-spatter expert with a very dark secret.

And this time, he’s not the only dangerous person in town.

Two new killers. One familiar face.

The new season introduces two major threats.

Brian Cox joins the cast as the New York Ripper, an infamous serial killer who has spent years escaping justice.

Meanwhile, Dan Stevens plays the Five Borough Killer, a younger murderer determined to make a name for himself.

And somewhere between hunting killers and hiding his own dark side, Dexter is dealing with something he probably wasn’t expecting. A midlife crisis.

Yes, even serial killers apparently have those.

And what about Harrison?

Dexter’s complicated relationship with his son isn’t getting any easier.

Harrison, played by Jack Alcott, continues searching for his own version of justice, while father and son face another dangerous chapter together.

Uma Thurman also returns as Charley, alongside several familiar faces from the first season.

Twenty years later, Dexter is still here.

It’s been two decades since Dexter first premiered in 2006, introducing audiences to a forensic expert secretly living as a serial killer.

Since then, the franchise has expanded through Dexter: New Blood, Dexter: Original Sin and Dexter: Resurrection.

Now the story continues with 10 new episodes, released weekly every Friday on Paramount+ Premium.

For longtime fans, it’s another chance to enter Dexter’s twisted world.

For everyone else, here’s your reminder that New York might not be the safest place to be this season.

Same Dexter. New killers. More blood.
