Most people at 15 are worrying about homework. Mayssa Baha is out here breaking football records for Barcelona.
The Moroccan international has become the youngest goalscorer in Liga F history, finding the net for Barça at only 15 years old.
And she did it during her first official start.
Baha opened the scoring against Logroño, adding another huge moment to a career that is moving ridiculously fast considering she is still young enough to be sitting in a classroom.
If the name sounds familiar, there is a reason.
Mayssa comes from a serious football family. Her father, Nabil Baha, is a former Moroccan international who played professionally in Spain and represented the Atlas Lions. Her older brother Ilyas Baha is also one of Morocco’s young football prospects.
But Mayssa is very quickly building a story of her own.
She joined Barcelona’s youth setup and has already represented Morocco internationally, making her senior debut at only 14.
Now she has a Liga F record next to her name.
The timing also feels important. Women’s football in Morocco has grown massively over the past few years, with the national team reaching new audiences and more young Moroccan players entering major European academies.
Seeing a Moroccan teenager making history at one of the biggest clubs in world football makes that progress feel very real.
At 15 years old, Mayssa Baha is already scoring for Barcelona.
