Casablanca’s art scene just got a new address.
Loft Art Gallery is inaugurating its new Casablanca home today, September 17, with a massive collective exhibition called Hamasāt al-Fajr :Whispers of Dawn.
And the lineup is stacked.
The show brings together established and emerging names including Mohamed Melehi, Farid Belkahia, Mohamed Chabâa, Mous Lamrabat, M’hammed Kilito, Nassim Azarzar, Hiba Baddou, Khadija El Abyad, Joana Choumaliand many more.
The exhibition is built around the idea of a new beginning without erasing what came before — putting different generations of artists into conversation through memory, materials and cultural references.
Which is pretty fitting considering it’s literally inaugurating a new space.
Hamasāt al-Fajr runs until October 18.
