Netflix just dropped a series that sound like an absolute fever dream

stache lifstyle

A broke gangster.

A secret organisation.

A century-old Taiwanese temple.

And somehow they’re all part of the same Netflix series.

The Fixers drops globally on Netflix today, September 17, and the premise sounds like someone mixed an action movie, a crime comedy and Taiwanese temple culture in a blender.

The story follows Felix Chiang, a debt-ridden gangster who gets pulled into a mysterious organisation known as the Fixers.

They operate somewhere between the criminal underworld and the law, taking on covert missions while following their own very questionable version of justice.

The teaser alone starts with Felix getting caught cheating at an underground casino before being chased through a traditional market.

So… relaxing television.

The Taiwanese action-comedy comes from directors Hung Tzu-hsuan and Henri Chang and stars Christopher Lee alongside Shou Lou, Regina Lei and Fu Meng-po.

Basically:

What if your local temple had a secret mission department?

We’re watching.
