After days of teasing, Manal Benchlikha has finally released “FORAS”, her latest single, and the song is taking a different approach to the classic breakup track.
“FORAS,” meaning “chances,” looks at what happens after a relationship has already been given too many chances. Instead of focusing on heartbreak, anger or wanting someone back, Manal tells the story from the other side: the moment you finally stop looking back.
The song explores disappointment, emotional distance and the decision to walk away when there is simply nothing left to save. Manal has also described the experience as a personal one, reflecting on giving people more chances than they deserved before realizing that choosing yourself can sometimes mean letting go completely.
Released on September 11, “FORAS” had already been heavily teased across Manal’s social media, building anticipation around the track before its full release.
And maybe that’s what makes the song hit differently: it’s not a breakup anthem about missing someone. It’s about being done.
Manal is turning the “one last chance” story into a new chapter ,and the title pretty much says it all.
