And TikTok is loving it.
The video sparked a wave of reactions from people joking that they’re ready to abandon traditional applications altogether. Others are sharing their own increasingly creative ideas for getting noticed, with the underlying message being pretty clear: Gen Z is done applying quietly.
With competitive job markets and hundreds of applications for a single position, standing out has become part of the application itself. That increasingly means turning the job hunt into something visual, funny and — very TikTok-able.
