Jennifer Lawrence has finally entered the Instagram era , and she is already considering quitting.
The Oscar-winning actress joined Instagram under @jlaw after years of keeping a low profile online. But in her very first video, Lawrence made one thing clear: if people start being negative or mean, she’s gone.
She even followed it up on Stories with a joke asking people to protect “the baby” : herself.
The internet, naturally, loved the combination of celebrity status, anxiety and extremely online humor.
Lawrence’s Instagram debut is already becoming a perfect example of how celebrities are approaching social media differently: less polished PR, more personality and a lot more self-awareness.
