A “Lego airplane” comment just turned into a serious legal headache for Nora Fatehi.
Nora Fatehi is facing a civil defamation lawsuit from Indian aviation company Dunes Aviation, which is asking for ₹3 crore in damages roughly 3.4 million Moroccan dirhams.
But what exactly happened?
Back in December 2025, Nora was travelling from Mumbai to Jaipur on a Cessna Citation CJ2, a small private aircraft operated through Dunes Aviation.
According to the company’s lawsuit, Nora filmed videos inside the plane and described it as a “miniature,” “toy” and “Lego airplane” before sharing the footage on Instagram.
Dunes Aviation claims that Nora’s comments were “derogatory” and “reckless” and made the aircraft — and by extension the company , look unsafe or unprofessional.
The company says Nora’s huge social-media following amplified the comments and allegedly led to booking cancellations and a 15–20% drop in bookings.
Dunes Aviation also insists that the aircraft was properly certified, airworthy and legally operated.
So why ₹3 crore?
The company is asking the court for 3 crore Indian rupees in compensation for the alleged damage to its reputation and business.
It is also asking for the allegedly defamatory content to be removed from social media and wants Nora to issue a public clarification.
Nora has NOT been ordered to pay ₹3 crore.
This is a lawsuit filed by the company. The court still has to consider the case and decide what happens.
The first hearing is scheduled for September 25, 2026, before a senior civil judge in Gandhinagar.
