Kimi Antonelli and Anthony Edwards are the stars of adidas’ new short film, “The Ants,” released today.
The concept? Instead of a racetrack or basketball court, the two end up in a classic Italian bar near Monza, challenging two local card-game legends.
The reason behind the whole thing: they’re both “Ants.” Kimi is known as Kimi “Ant” Antonelli, while Anthony Edwards is “Ant-Man.”
Even better, adidas created a custom Italian card deck featuring the two athletes as the Aces , and fans can get their hands on it at adidas’ Milan store from today.
It’s basically F1 meets NBA meets Italian culture, and honestly, we didn’t know we needed this crossover.
