The wait is almost over.
If you’ve been counting down to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4…
You won’t have to wait much longer.

Activision has officially revealed the beta schedule.
The Early Access Beta runs from August 21 to August 25, but it’s only available for players who pre-order the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or PC.
──────────
Didn’t pre-order?
No problem.
The Open Beta starts August 28 and ends September 1, giving everyone a chance to play—including Nintendo Switch 2 players.
──────────
The beta launches immediately after Call of Duty: NEXT on August 21, where Infinity Ward will reveal new multiplayer gameplay, maps, modes, and additional surprises before players jump in.
──────────
Players will get access to brand-new maps, fresh Operators, new weapons, and multiple game modes ranging from fast-paced 3v3 battles to large-scale combat featuring vehicles.
It’s also the first chance for the community to test the new multiplayer systems before launch.
──────────
Mark your calendars.
August 21 for Early Access.
August 28 for everyone else.
The road to Modern Warfare 4 officially begins next month.
