Casablanca: DGSN Deploys 31 New High-Tech Police Vehicles

Just received a major upgrade.

 

Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has deployed a first fleet of 31 modern police vehicles to the Casablanca Police Prefecture, strengthening emergency response capabilities across the city’s busiest districts.

The new vehicles are designed to support several frontline units, including:

 

• Emergency police patrols

• Rapid intervention teams

• Public security units

 

Their mission is clear: respond to emergency calls faster and improve police presence across the city, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

According to the DGSN, this deployment is part of a broader modernization program aimed at upgrading police infrastructure and operational resources.

 

The new fleet features fully equipped patrol cars and specialized service vehicles built to improve mobility, coordination and on-the-ground efficiency during daily operations.

The rollout comes as Morocco continues investing heavily in public security ahead of several major international events, including the 2030 FIFA World Cup, which the country will co-host with Spain and Portugal.

 

Modernizing police equipment is considered a key part of strengthening security, emergency response and public services for both residents and visitors.
