Before artists headline festivals…
They usually start somewhere.
For many Moroccan musicians, that place is L’Boulevard’s Tremplin.
The iconic music competition has officially unveiled the 15 artists and bands selected for its 2026 edition, taking place from September 17 to 20 at the RUC Stadium in Casablanca. (Le360)

This year’s lineup showcases the diversity of Morocco’s emerging music scene.
The selected acts include:
• 7 rap and hip-hop artists • 4 rock and metal bands • 4 fusion and alternative music projects
Over four days, they’ll perform live in front of music industry professionals and festivalgoers, competing for a chance to launch their careers.

But L’Boulevard is far more than a talent show.
Founded in 1999, it has become Morocco’s biggest platform for discovering independent and urban artists.
Some of the country’s biggest names—including Don Bigg, H-Kayne, and Fnaïre—first gained national attention through this very stage before becoming household names.

Winning the Tremplin means much more than taking home a trophy.
The winners receive professional mentoring, studio recording opportunities, technical training, and direct access to music industry networks, giving young artists the tools to turn their passion into a career.

The 2026 selection also reflects a broader trend.
Hip-hop continues to dominate Morocco’s youth culture, attracting the largest number of applicants year after year.
At the same time, rock, metal and fusion projects remain an essential part of L’Boulevard’s identity, keeping the festival one of the most diverse music platforms in North Africa.

Over the past two decades…
L’Boulevard has evolved into much more than a festival.
It’s a cultural movement where music, street art, skateboarding and youth culture come together, helping shape Morocco’s creative scene while giving independent artists a stage to be heard.

Every superstar starts somewhere… and for one of these 15 artists, L’Boulevard 2026 could be the beginning of something much bigger.
