Going into the 2026 baccalaureate retake session…

Students will face more than just the exam.

They’ll face stricter security than ever before.

─────────

Morocco’s Ministry of National Education has introduced new anti-cheating measures aimed at protecting the integrity of the exams.

The objective is simple:

Ensure that every student succeeds through merit—not fraud.

─────────

Among the biggest changes…

Mobile phones and electronic devices will be subject to enhanced detection using electronic scanning systems.

Bags and unauthorized personal belongings will no longer be allowed inside examination centers.

Only essential school supplies, medication and necessary food items will be permitted, and they may have to be presented in transparent pouches for inspection.

─────────

The Ministry is also strengthening supervision.

Dedicated anti-fraud teams will monitor the detection equipment throughout the exams, while new procedures will secure the handling and correction of exam papers after the tests are completed.

─────────

These measures will apply starting with the 2026 retake session, with the goal of improving transparency, protecting equal opportunities and reinforcing public confidence in the national examination system.

─────────

Technology has changed the way students learn…

But it’s also changed the way people try to cheat.

Now…

Schools are adapting too.

─────────

But here’s the real question…

Do stricter anti-cheating measures make exams fairer… or is the real solution to rethink the way students are assessed?
