Google is giving investors a new way to track the markets.

The tech giant has officially launched a dedicated Google Finance app for Android, bringing real-time

market data, AI-powered insights and personalized investment tools into a single mobile experience.

The app allows users to monitor their watchlists, follow live stock prices and access breaking financial news, all from one place.

It also includes Google’s AI-powered « Key Moments » feature, which explains why a stock is rising or falling in real time.

─────────

Google is also rolling out portfolios globally, enabling users to track all of their investments from a unified dashboard.

Users can even upload PDFs, CSV files or screenshots of their holdings, while Google’s AI analyzes

their portfolios and answers investment-related questions.

─────────

Another new feature lets investors create AI-generated market briefings.

Simply describe the type of update you want ,such as a daily cryptocurrency summary or a pre-market report

and Google Finance will automatically deliver personalized insights on schedule.

─────────

The launch places Google in more direct competition with financial platforms like Yahoo Finance and

investing apps by combining market data with generative AI, an iOS version is also expected

to arrive later this year, expanding access to Google’s new AI-powered finance experience.

─────────

One thing is clear.

Google wants AI to become your personal financial assistant, helping you understand the markets—not just follow them.
