Botola Pro: AS FAR takes the lead, with RSB and Raja in pursuit

AS FAR emerged as the biggest winner of the 26th matchday after

securing a crucial 2-0 victory over Kawkab Marrakech,

allowing the Rabat-based club to move alone to the top of the Botola Pro standings.

After a goalless first half, Reda Slim broke the deadlock from the penalty spot

in the 56th minute before Achraf Missou

sealed the victory deep into stoppage time with a second goal in the 90+5th minute.

Thanks to this important win, AS FAR now sits on 52 points, taking sole possession

of first place with only four matches remaining in the season.

Meanwhile, RS Berkane claimed a valuable 2-1 away victory against Maghreb de Fès

in one of the most anticipated clashes of the round.

Berkane took the lead just two minutes into the match through Paul Bassène

before Soufiane Benjdida equalized for MAS.

Youssef Mehri then restored the advantage for the visitors in the 35th minute, « 

a lead they successfully defended until the final whistle.

The result lifts Berkane to second place with 50 points, while Maghreb de Fès drops to third

on 49 points, making the battle for the title tighter than ever.

One thing is clear:

with only four rounds remaining, AS FAR has gained a significant advantage, but Berkane remains within striking

distance in what promises to be a thrilling finish to the Botola Pro season.
