A new chapter in Morocco’s global connectivity is taking off.
Royal Air Maroc has officially launched a direct route between Casablanca and Los Angeles,
creating the first-ever nonstop air link between Africa and the U.S. West Coast.
The service began on June 7, 2026, further expanding Morocco’s international aviation network
and strengthening Casablanca’s position as a strategic hub between continents.

In a context where global mobility, tourism, and business travel continue to grow…
this new connection represents a major step in enhancing links between Morocco, North America, and the wider African continent.
Operated by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, the route is scheduled three times per week and offers travelers
a direct journey of approximately 12 hours between Casablanca and Los Angeles.

Beyond tourism, the route is expected to support business exchanges, diaspora travel,
and future international events, while reinforcing Royal Air Maroc’s ambition
to position Casablanca as a leading transcontinental gateway.
The launch also reflects Morocco’s broader strategy to strengthen its global reach
and improve connectivity with key economic and cultural centers around the world.

One thing is clear: the Casablanca–Los Angeles route is more than a new flight—
it is a strategic bridge connecting Africa to the Pacific coast of the United States
and opening new opportunities for travel, trade, and international cooperation.
